The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
